Anything worth doing is worth doing well.
OK! The time has come. Only a few more days for my last competition 2009.
I will be competing in two shows in one night. Typhoon Bay and Hurricane Bay.
I will do open class in Typhoon Bay. This show as a tested competition. This means all the competitors are tested for drugs. Also, I will cross over to Hurricane Bay and will compete in the Masters Woman over forty category. In this competition, I will be competing sans steroids with other women who are not required to be tested for steroids.
These Bodybuilding Shows are very challenging for me because for the last few months I have been dealing with some injuries. Many times I have been tempted to quit but the passion and the love for the sport always overtakes me.
Some times the easy way out is to quit, but if you have the passion and the desire to accomplish what you set out to do your inner strength comes to the surface and you make discoveries about your character, your values, and what is important to you.
Many times my during these last few months my body has wanted to give up. Tthank God for my mental training, my passion for Bodybuilding, my coach, and the people around me who support me. This gives me the power and the perseverance to achieve what I set out to accomplish. You never achieve your goals alone.
Special thanks to my Coach Steve Pfiester and to Susan Ballard for sharing her god-given talents in photography and as a videographer. Additionally, thank you to all of my friends in FaceBook, YouTube, and to my viewers of “Empowerment with Dr Josefina”. I invite you to become my friend on FaceBook and to access my channel on YouTube (Dr. Josefina, as well as my website (http://www.drjosefina.com/) where you will find a schedule of my upcoming seminars. I am also available for personal/life coaching via the website.
