The magic of day Dreaming.
Henry David Thoreau, Author, Philosopher said, “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined."
As children, we have fantasies but as we grow up, we tend to narrow our possibilities because of the opinions of other people. We accept those opinions as reality and then we reinforce them with our negative self talk.
We say, “I can’t do this. Or they won’t let me.” And before we know it our horizon is as small as a flowerpot and the result is that we feel stifled, cramped, and unhappy.
Some of the reasons why people never develop their dreams are low self-esteem, poor self-image, lack of goal setting, and poor attitude about life and themselves.
Because of these two factors, most people do not look for ways to make their dreams come true.
Instead they embrace the reasons why it would not work thereby sabotaging their chances for personal growth, for job satisfaction, and happy relationships.
In order for a daydream to become a reality first and foremost you must gravitate towards the environment of your dreams you must plant yourself in the right soil.
The paradox of daydreaming is that people do not take it seriously. They think it is a waste of time. In reality, dreams are a powerful reflection of your growth potential.
Winners accept the belief that dreams, hopes, and a deep unbreakable faith; along with a habit of decisive goal setting is the spring from which all creative energy flows.
Worrying does not help you to get where you want to go.
Instead, look for the opening; look for the possibilities.
If you look at the wall and think, “Oh I better not hit that wall”, what is going to happen is that you are going to hit the wall.
Many of us concentrate on the obstacle. Therefore, we do not see the opening. Worrying is nothing more than the misuse of your imagination.
Worrying is vividly imagining what you don’t want to happen in the future; and what you are doing is programming yourself for failure.
Remember, we are not on earth to live up to someone else’s expectations. It is easy for someone to tell you that you can’t, but you will never know unless you make the effort.
Here are some empowering personal qualities required for making your dreams a reality.
Imagination, Self- reliance,
Personal initiative, Enthusiasm,
Self- discipline, Concentrated effort, and Clarity of purpose.
Clarity of purpose means to be confident in your own integrity and character.
Faith.
The greatest benefit of clear purpose is that it opens your mind to the quality known as faith. Faith makes your mind positive and frees it from the limitations of doubt and discouragement, indecision and procrastination.
Closely related to faith is success-consciousness.
Your mind becomes sold on success and refuses to accept the possibility of failure.
Sense of direction.
A sense of direction actually amounts to a sense of several directions:
Prepare for several career changes.
Approach learning as a life-long process.
Adjust to changes in your family life.
Learn to manage change so that it doesn’t manage you.
You are not on earth to live up, to someone else’s expectations, but rather to make your unique contributions to the world. How do you do that?
You need to pursue your dreams.
Honor your individual worth.
The purpose of dreams is to become reality!! So do it.
You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you."

EMPOWERMENT TIP: Belief without Evidences
This Empowerment tip describes how we must alter our level of expectations in order to experience change or growth. In changing our expectancy level, we must believe in our selves and our dreams and have faith to persevere. People who must have evidences or concrete feedback before they will take a risk find it very difficult to grow, change, and utilize their full potential. Human beings behave not according to the truth; they behave according to the truth, as they perceive it to be. That is determined by cultural trends.
Cultural trends are opinions that are commonly accepted as the truth. For example, in Columbus’ day, the common belief was that the earth was flat...His problem was not that he believed the earth was round; his problem was convincing other people to believe. If you were a banker in Columbus’s day would lend him the money? If Columbus would ask you to go sailing around the world, would you have gone?
Your Challenge, and my challenge, is to get other people to believe that they can do more. This is how you can empower yourself.
1. To belief without evidences, you must set the goal first.
2. You must know what is a value to you first before the information gets through.
The information does not come to you unless you decide what it is that you want and is a value to you. This is the reason why we set the goal first. In the back of your, brain there is filter it has the shape of and apple this filter blocks out information that is not important to you. i.e. If a mother is sound asleep there are all kind of noises but if her baby cries she is up. This filter only allows information that it is of value or threat.
You set the goal first, them the information comes through. You have to decide what you are looking for. What kind of clients you are looking for, what kind job, what kind of car. The ingredient that high performance people have is that they believe without evidence. Everyone wants the evidence first, before they will believe. However, it does not work that way.
Another word for belief without evidence is faith. You set your goal based in what you want, not what you have. You must change your expectations in order to grow, become, and change. Problems cannot be solved at the same level, of awareness that created them.
